I get called ‘Miss’ a lot at school so I thought I’d call myself MrBlogDaddy to make sure that I got my gender across from the outset.

This blog has begun because I want to write about the life of a first time father who works in a female dominated world, the primary school. I, like many new dads, get advice from every angle and it’s about time I had a say in what was said and done.

I have said some relatively controversial statements in the staffroom, mainly to see what the reaction might be, and I am going to share my musings, ideology and understanding with whomever wishes to listen.
